I am aware of the need to maintain privacy and confidentiality. I always write in a diary about your child's day (which you take home) and discuss with you any issues or concerns.
Other cultures
Together we will respect and understand other cultures. The toys and books that I provide reflect a multi-cultural society and also a society which is inclusive of everyone. We will look at objects such as cooking equipment and clothing used in various cultural groupings.
I always bring different cultural celebrations into our play such as Chinese New Year or Diwali etc. I encourage children to learn about different cultures and their languages.
I try to include a wide variety of images and objects into our play time which reflect the diversity of life in our society without representing any culture as being superior to another.
